Solomon, James L, 69 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday at Miami Valley Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Vera M. (Turber); 1 daughter Patricia Williams f of Peoria, AZ; 2 sons, James Jr. of Missoula, MT, Tim of Missoula, MT., Tim of Dayton 1 brother, J.C. Solomon of Douglas, GA; 5 grandchildren, Josh and Jimmy Solomon, Jeffrey and Mark Turber and Erin Phillips. He was a member of the Reed Memorial Presbyterian Church in Richmond, IN. He was a retired Realtor and owner of Solomon Real Estate in Richmond and a Past President of the Board of Realtors in 1968 and 1973. He was the Past Worshipful Master of Webb Lodge in Richmond, a member of Murat Temple Shrine in Indianapolis and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. He was the owner of the PIP Printing Companies in Kettering and Beavercreek. Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday Tobias Funeral Home. Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Drive. RP MacDonald officiating. Interment David’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Masonic Memorial services will be held at 7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
