We don”™t know just what took place ”˜Neath gunfire, bombs and shells; We do know this, however, And proud we are to tell. How bravely you fought, how faithfully, Not caring for your lives; Instead you sought only to Protect your Stars and Stripes. So let your rest be sweet and deep, Those of you who died; You”™ve done your job, the very best; Your memory is our pride.
