Dear Mom and Dad, Just a line or two, how are you all, doing ok ah hopes? James and I got a room by the grand help of Mrs. Wilkie. It”™s with a nice lady from Australia and the room is small but very pretty. It has wooden walls (as most the buildings have here). They are white; there is a bed, dresser, two wicker chairs, one straight back chair, a rather nice closet, writing desk and lounge. It has three windows, two doors, one to the outside front porch and the other to the hall. The bathroom we share with her, we have to eat out. However the floor is bare, except for two white fur rugs. The bed is a single bed, with a beautiful pink and white chenille spread. James will sleep on the lounge. We get it for $50, she does the laundry such as sheets and such. We are looking for an apartment but they are hard to find now, but they are planning on building some more houses, we hope. James was to have a yearly typhoid, tetanus, shots today so he may not be up this evening. My eczema broke out again and I am having a time. They say it”™s from being so nervous, well could be. Am feeling some better still have that pain around my heart region. You ask about Jane and “her condition” and if that”™s what is wrong, well James hopes so more than anything else, all he wants is one. What do you think of the idea? Frankly, I can”™t get enthused. I hope to do private duty over here -if possible -well I must close for now. Hope to hear from you soon. Aloha ”“AraBelle
