My Dear Miss Fuller, I must thank you very much for your kindness by sending me such a sweet gift. I shall treasure it all my life. I”™ve never seen you in person but by the way my boy talks about you I feel I know you and am looking forward to seeing you when this terrible war is over and please God it won”™t be long. You say my boy is grand; he”™s always been the best son a mother could have. Kind generous and thoughtful of me always. I hope this is only the beginning of a lovely friendship between you and I. And when you come to England you must make this your home for your stay here. I don”™t know where Albert is, I”™ve not had a letter for nine weeks, but I can only hope and pray that God will bring him back to me.
