Dear Mom and Dad A few lines. I am so sorry the necklaces had worms on them, but it”™s not surprising, there are bugs everywhere. We have spiders as large as our fists in our rooms and the cutest lizards. They get in our beds sometimes at night and we lay on them and smash them, but they are good to kill mosquitoes so we never kill them and its nothing to have a nice big cockroach crawl across your tray while eating. They are everywhere. We are having fresh cucumbers and tomatoes of late. They look awfully good but no can eat. We have always had radishes, lettuce and carrots all season. James can”™t come up to see me now for 21 days as someone out there got the mumps. He says he has more trouble than the Solomon Islands. I sat up for 45 min today. Hey what a job. Whew! Mrs. Wilkie was up for a few minutes, brought me pink roses and forget me not”™s. Roses are rather a rare flower here you know Love to you all -AraBelle Hello from Jimmie and Dopey
