Mail from home.

The v-mail comes per plane, the air mail by boat but who brings the boat mail? (That is the $64 question) Just read the diary of a Nazi flyer, pretty good too. Well March is here the 15th is coming and so is my income tax $106 this time, sorta high ”“ there must be a war on. The British fleet arrived ”“ air craft carrier “Victorious,” sailors, marine”™s short pants and all. One Marine was standing on the bus telling another how he stood in line for four hours, thinking he was in a pub line (beer line) and it turned out to be a tax line, poor British boys sure are having a time. We are on the alert. James is maneuvers. I am on nights and so goes the ole world. Oh yes the world is at war. Russia doesn”™t like us, thinks we aren”™t giving enough. Well maybe we aren”™t giving it to them but we”™ll get thar someday. We hope. Bet the next war
