Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fuller,
I”™m here at the hospital with that spoiled daughter of yours and she suggested that I write you a few lines. We are just about to have a fight now so I doubt very seriously if I get this finished.
I”™ve been transferred from my ship and am waiting for further transfer to places unknown. I have no idea where I am going but it will probably be in the next few days.
I got the book you sent telling about the Black Hills and am sorry that I haven”™t answered sooner but then I guess it”™s better late than never. I enjoyed the book very much and hope that I may see the real thing some day after the war is over.
